    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Robert S. Green

Major Green went through pilot training in the early days of World War II. He flew multiple tours in B-25s and B-17s, as Pilot-in-Command. Returning home, he continued to fly in the Tennessee Air National Guard. As his son, I grew up seeing his love for flying, watching him always look up whenever an aircraft passed within hearing. He has passed along his love of lying to younger men and women. His children include career employee at Boeing Aircraft, a professional pilot, plus others with various levels of flight training. A grandson is happily pursuing his dreams as an engineer at Gulfstream. Every member of his extended family and many friends have been exposed to flying as a result of Walter R. Green and his passion for flight.
