Mr. Marco G. Barrios's passion for flight sparked at the age of seven the moment his father took him to the city park and placed him in a retired plane's cockpit to play pretend as a pilot. As he played with the plane's flight control panels, his childhood imagination began to soar and ignite his curiosity about how each of the plane's parts worked together to make it fly. He grew up admiring aircraft, such as the North American P-51 Mustang for its design, speed, and history throughout several wars, as well as the Northrop T-38 Talon jet. In 1996, Marco realized his dream of receiving his pilot's license and flying solo for the first time. The beauty of defying gravity and, above all, his children inspire his dedication and service to the aviation field spanning over three decades.

Marco's aviation career took off in 1988 in his home town of Guatemala City, Guatemala, where he started out as an aircraft technical surgeon (E2-E6) at the National Air Force Base and learned the basics of aviation history, engineering, and airframe design from a group of supportive mentors within the industry. Marco's career trajectory has taken him all over the world to work on aircraft for international governments, such as Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Germany and domestically in the United States of America from coast to coast. Throughout his tenure in California, Marco supported numerous business jet corporations, such as Gulfstream Aerospace building, testing, and flying GII to GV models and Beechcraft for Raytheon Aircraft where he worked on the Reciprocating (Piston) engines and a variety of private jets. In Florida, Marco's most current service has been with Sikorsky for 13 years building, testing, and flying the Black Hawk UH-60, Sea Hawk SH-60, Pave Hawk HH-60W and Super Stallion CH-53K helicopters.
