    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Eden Carino

Mark Carino knew at the age of eight that he wanted to be a pilot. He started working at the local airport at the age of 15, answering phones, washing airplanes, anything in exchange for a lesson.

Mark went to work for the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) as an air traffic controller after high school and spent every penny to obtain ratings. He landed a job with Mesa Airlines in 1990 and flew the Beechcraft 1900 until 1996 when he was hired by Northwest Airlines.

Mark has flown the B-727, B-757, and is currently in the DC-9. His ratings include single engine seaplanes, gliders, and helicopters. Mark instructs in helicopters in his spare time and flies the airplane which he owns, a Citabria.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
