    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Donna L. Wiseman

Mark A. Kuttrus' love of aviation began at an early age. As a young boy he and his family went on family outings to the airport in Canton, Ohio and watched the planes take off and land. It was during these family outings that his imagination and interest was captured by the magic and science of flight.

The love of flying became more than a youthful interest when he majored in aviation management at the Ohio State University. After graduation he began a career as an aviation professional, working for firms that plan and design airports and manage airport renovations.

His professional role involves him with many aspects of aviation and as a result he is never far away from airports and airplanes. Many times his morning commute will take him to some of the busiest airports in the country as they make renovations or expansions. On other days, he works with smaller airports, less well known, but still important to their communities. Even when he works in his office he deals with aspects of airplanes, airports, and aviation.

Mark's enthusiasm for airplanes and flying goes beyond his profession. It is a major part of his life and a passion he shares with others, especially his family. Weekend visits to airports and the National Air and Space Museum are his passion.
