    Lt. Col. Mark T. Doll is an accomplished polar pilot, assigned to the 109 Airlift Wing, New York Air National Guard in Scotia, NY. He has over 6500 flying hours, with over 5000 in the ski-equipped LC-130 Hercules. Much of that time flying in Antarctica and Greenland, including landing on several remote open-snow sites.
    Born and raised in Clifton Park, NY. Lt Col Doll graduated from Norwich University in 1989 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the US Air Force upon graduation. He attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Laughlin AFB and was then assigned to fly the C-12 Huron at Kadena AB, Okinawa Japan. Shortly after this tour, he transferred to the NY Air National Guard where he again flew the C-12 and began a career flying the LC-130. Additionally, he has earned graduate degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Air University.
    Currently, Lt Col Doll lives in Wilton NY with his wife, Leslie Fitzgerald Doll. In their spare time, they enjoy flying their 1946 Aeronca Champ - also equipped with skis.
