Attended Aviation Mechanic’s High School in the mid-30’s. Did co-op work at the Naval Reserve Aviation Facility at Floyd Bennett Field, N.Y. Graduated Pratt Institute following studies in Mechanical Engineering. Worked at G.E.’s Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, N.Y. Worked at the Naval research laboratory on Washington, D.C. where he participated in the engineering design and development of equipment for the Apollo Space Program for the study of soft x-rays, cosmic rays and far infra-red studies measured during Earth to Moon transit.
