    Honored by:

Matthew and Patricia Nowlin have always had an interest in aviation and space exploration. Both had childhood dreams of careers in aerospace. It was theirs shared interest in aerospace that brought them together in college where them met in an aerospace engineering class. After graduating with their degrees they married and went on to work in the aerospace industry, Patricia examined aerospace patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and Matthew went to work for Lockheed Martin. Patricia eventually went to work for Lockheed Martin as well, proudly joining the same program Matthew was working. Matthew also serves as a helicopter pilot in the Maryland Army National Guard as well. It is with great excitement both look forward to the new museum opening and carrying on the mission of honoring aviation and space exploration.
