    He was born in New Orleans on 22 February 1915. His log indicates that he recorded his first flight on the 14 June 1942 in a PT-17. His first flight over the hump was from Jorhat on the 18th April 1943 in a C 47. His last flight was from Chabua to Kunming and back on 1st June 1944 in a C-46 Thereafter he was stationed in the middle east before being transferred to St Mawgan in Cornwall from 3rd December until the end of the war. After the war he continued to fly. His home was in Caracas Venezuela and he had a Piper twin Comanche YV 178P with a Miller Conversion which he flew until the 10th December 1982. He died in Caracas on the 14th March 2005. He had a life long love and interest in Aviation.
