AAF/USAF 1918-1954. Continuous flying status. WWII duties included position on D-Day Planning Staff in U.K. and assignment as DEP Cmdr 1st Allied Exp. Air Force following Normandy invasion. Retired as Commander, San Bernardino AMA, Norton AFB, CA. Deceased 1978 at age 84.
