Mike decided at the age of 5 or 6 that he was going to fly.
In 1979, he graduated from the Air Force Academy and spent ten years flying KC-130 tankers and AWACS all over the globe.
He left the Air Force after ten years to become a commercial airline pilot. He continues to do that today, March 2002, flying for Federal Express.
