Mike Cochran was a colleague and friend to the Semitool Flight Department and many pilots in the Kalispell, Montana area. He started employment with Semitool as a mechanic, was promoted to co-pilot mechanic, and ended his career as an International Captain on Falcon 50’s and Falcon 900 aircraft.

He worked for Semitool and it’s succeeding company, The Thompson Group for 18 years. Before his employment with Semitool he worked for Jim Smith and was instrumental in restoring many antique and war bird aircraft. Mike will always be remembered for his skills in metal work in the maintenance world, and for his skill as a pilot! Mike was an Army helicopter mechanic and a Vietnam Veteran. He was a great friend to many and will be missed! May Mike always have clear skies and Tailwinds!
