"Mickey," while on the City Council of Bridgeport, Connecticut was the driving force that led to the purchase of land in Stratford, Connecticut that ultimately led to the formation of the Bridgeport Municipal Airport.... today the Sikorsky Airport.
In the State of Connecticut, Mickey Gratt was known as the Flying Pharmacist!
