    Born in Erie, Pennsylvania January 17, 1941 to Richard and Virginia Glenn

    Enlisted n the United States Navy January 1958. Attended training and technical schools in San Diego, California, Norman, Oklahoma, and Memphis Tennessee. At NAS Quonset Point, Rhode Island he learned aircraft flight line and power plant shop duties. Began flying as a naval Aircrewman in SNB-5, AD-5, TV-2, and T2V aircraft.

    Transferred to Fighter Squadron 121 at NAS Miramar, California, then to Fighter Squadron 193, at NAS Moffett Field and later Miramar. Deployed to WESTPAC with FITRON 193 on the USS Bon Homme Richard, CVA-31. At Naval Missile Center Point Mugu, California he earned his Naval Aircrewman Wings of Gold in A3D Skywarrior aircraft. Released from active duty in 1965.

    Joined Hughes Aircraft Company in their Flight Test Division at Culver City, California, as flightline Mechanic, then Supervisor, and worked all of the Hughes Program aircraft, including the A3 Skywarrior, F-111B, WB-66, Douglas A-26, Convair 240 and 580, T33, F4, and various corporate aircraft. Transferred to NAS Point Mugu in 1971 as the Hughes F-14 Program Supervisor, with the A3 testbed and prototype F-14 airplanes.

    Affiliated with the Naval Air Reserve at Point Mugu, and became a Flight Engineer in the P3 Orion Series, retiring in 1996 as a Master Chief after accruing over 3,500 flight hours with three different squadrons at Point Mugu and Moffett Field.

    In December 1980 opened the Hughes Facility at Van Nuys, California. Directed the maintenance of all Hughes airplanes and retired from Hughes Aircraft in November 1996. Holds an FAA A&P, IA, FAA Flight Engineer and Private Pilot ratings.

    Affiliated with Denmar Inc., and developed a Special Radar Testbed using an Air Force T-43 airframe, a derivative of the Boeing 737 series. In 2007, developed a team and contracted with the USAF to park, preserve, and store the F-117 Fighter series. Retired from Denmar Technical Services in October 2009.

    Mike now acts as a team leader restoring A3 Skywarriors for various Museums.

    Mike resides in Pine Mountain Club, California with his wife Sally.
