Michael started his aviation career in the 1960s. He obtained his airframe and powerplant degree and subsequently earned his Inspector Authorization certification. He also became a flight instructor and was issued a flight safety counselor's certificate in the early 1970s.
Michael started an aviation consulting business in 1975 for VIP entertainer transportation in corporate aircraft. He handled all of the private air movements for the Grateful Dead (18 years), Jimmy Buffett (12 years), Heart (14 years), Van Halen, Barry Manilow, and many more.
