Michael Janowich served in the United States Air Force from 1965 - 1968 as a Technical Aircraft Maintenance instructor and Crew Chief. He has a strong passion for aviation, space and science which has helped to inspire his children to seek careers in science and technology. In 1989 he continued his interest in aviation by joining the Charles County Windrifters, a radio control airplane club. Five years later, he became an Instructor level R/C pilot. He is a mentor and inspiration to his friends and family and continues to be a proud supporter of the United States military and space programs.
