Mike is a native of Boise, Idaho. He graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1985 and was a pilot with Eastern Airlines from 1985 to 1989. He currently works as a corporate pilot with Boise Cascade Corporation in Boise, Idaho. Mike is married to Marci Pape and has three children, Megan, Josie, and Samuel.
