Mike Downey was born in Boston, MA and grew up in Mobile, AL. His father, Dr Jim Downey, inspired in him a love of flying, curiosity and exploration.
Mike currently works as an Avionics Engineering manager at SpaceX. The goal of the company’s founder is to make humans an interplanetary species.
