Early years engrossed in 10 cent stick/tissue models, pulp WWI aviation mags, "airfields". G.I. Bill grad Roosevelt Aviation School - First solo yellow J-3 NC6760H. First owned aircraft blue/orange 1929 Fleet biplane NC766V. Remaining yrs. flew variety a/c, primary gliders, sailplanes, WWII surplus, Spam cans. Flew "production" test flights of Martin B-57 and P5Ms including l1/2 years test flying B57 aircraft in Scandinavia during MOD/IRAN assignment. High point in "Aviation Career" taking part in flight testing the world's fastest flying boat, the Martin P6M Seamaster.
