    Born in 1908, she first became interested in early flight as a result of shock cord glider launching at Harris Hill in Elmira, NY, her birthplace. For her entire life, she followed and was thrilled with the evolution of aircraft design, progress and application.
    She was a graduate of Well's College, completing graduate studies at Cornell University in the pre- medical field.
    Most of her active career was teaching in the Bio Chemical Field at Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA, and in private and public high schools, concluding at Clarkstown Central School District, New City, NY, as Coordinator of Science.
    She retired in November of 1973.
    She served as Director of a Herald Tribune Fresh Air Camp, and as a Liaison Officer of the American Red Cross.
    During World War II, she was employed as a statistician at W.F. Gibbs, in New York City, in the Major Procurement Office for Naval Shipbuilding.
    She was a board member in the National Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club.
