    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Mort Lloyd was a famed radio and television personality who ran for Congress in 1974. After winning the Democratic primary, Mort was killed in a plane crash. Mort was a phenomenal pilot who acquired his private, multi-engine, instrument, and commercial ratings. His passion for aviation has passed onto his son Morty, who is a private pilot today.

Morty was Mort's only son and was the pride of his father. The two of them spent ten wonderful years together prior to his death. Their happiest memories were spent flying. They both truly loved aviation, planes, and the people who flew them. It is for this truly great aviator and dad that I bestow this honor. All My Love, Morty
