Born Harrisburg, PA, December 16, 1924. December 13, 1952 married Elinor Hobelmann, Baltimore, MD. Served four years in the U. S. Marine Corps. Participated in the first Allied offensive of the Second World War, the taking of Guadalcanal, received the Purple Heart and the Presidential Unit Citation. Learned to fly air planes, received Airman Certificate No. 462828, dated August 6, 1945. Education: The University of Maryland, The Baltimore Institute, The Maryland Institute of Art. Career: Commercial Interior Designer, Vice President and Secretary of The American Furniture & Fixtuer Company, bank designers and finished woodworking.
