Mr Alfred Bunje worked on B-25 and P-51G aircraft at North American.

He also worked approximately 24 years for Texstar Plastics where he was a research and development engineer, working on developing the visors for astronauts, even the one used on a Moon shot. He helped develop the canopy for the F-16, which US government wanted bird proof (or shatter proof). They are still making replacement canopies for F-16s from the technology he developed.

Al has been in the Lone Star Aero Club for approximately 10 years (as of 2000).
