David Lackner
David Isaac Lackner, born February 20, 1974 in Los Angeles, graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. He was then accepted into the competitive Technology Management & Policy Program at MIT, an integrated curriculum drawn from MIT's Engineering Systems Division, Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Sloan School of Management. Since graduating with an M.S. from MIT, David has continuously worked at the intersection between aerospace and business. From 2000 to 2005, David worked as a Program Manager for NASA at the Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, CA. Since then he has held positions at Lux Research, Inc., Bio-Info-Nano R&D Institute, and Applied Materials, Inc. and most recently, in 2010, David joined Space Systems/Loral as the Proposal Manager for Advanced Programs and Systems, working to bring together aerospace technology and business opportunities.
