?»?Enlisted in the United States Air Force at Dayton, Ohio in 1963. Served 4 years as an aircraft mechanic on T33s, T38s and F105s jet planes.
After discharge, attended Spartan School of Aeronautics and received FAA Airframe and Power plant license. Employed at Pratt Whitney in West Palm Beach, Florida for 36 years as an engine assembler, working on TF30, JT11, TF100 jet engines; RL10 rocket engines and space shuttle main engine turbo pumps.
Retired from Pratt Whitney in 2009.
