1976 -- Involved in the restoration of the TWA Northrop Alpha. It is presently displayed at your location on the Mall. We re-skinned the fuselage. Am proud to have been involved in the project. We both volunteered with our metal experience to replace the badly damaged existing metal.
We were employees of TWA at Kansas City, Missouri maintenance base. I retired in 1991.
I am also a member of U.S. Air Force Museum, EAA, Collings Foundation, B-17 and B-24, Greenland Expedition P-38 recovered from 40 years of ice, Save-A-Connie (Flying) DC-3 Soon, Kansas City, Missouri.
Also have toured Silver Hill -- keep up the good work.
