Majored in aeronautics through High School, and Cal-Aero Tech. to acquire an A&P License. Worked for Flying Tiger Line for one year; then went into Army Aviation for two years.

After Military Service, joined United Airlines at SFO International on March 16, 1953 until retirement on April 01, 1989. Shortly after joining United, acquired an AA degree at College of San Mateo. During 36 years became Line Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Instructor, and Maintenance Specialist. Still maintain interest through publications and fellow retirees.
