    Frank Jr was born April 13, 1925 in El Dorado, Arkansas and died April 10, 1998 in Tyler, Texas. During the fall of 1943 he entered the US Army Air Corps aviation cadet program, getting his pilot wings as a member of class 45-A at Vance AFB, Enid, Oklahoma.

    He graduated from Louisiana Tech engineering school in 1949 and was employed by Exxon Pipeline for 34 years.

    During the Korean War Frank was recalled into the Strategic Air Command, flying recon in RB-50s, mostly from Ramey AFB, Puerto Rico. He maintained his pilot skills right up until his final days.
