    Ms. April Pearson

Mr. George B. Pearson founded the TravelScan Corporation in 1994, which developed groundbreaking analytical and auditing techniques for airlines, government aviation agencies, and aerospace manufacturers. His independent operational audits were sought by airlines around the world for the benchmarks they provided. Before TravelScan, he held executive positions at Avitas of Reston, VA and Airline Economics of Washington DC, where he built successful aviation consulting practices.

While at Pan American World Airways from 1967 to 1975 in New York City, he pioneered computerized procedures for flight profitability forecasts and analysis. He designed and developed Pan Am's first operations planning system and served as director of operating plans for five years. He organized and staffed a new group to conduct operations research and system-wide planning for all departments of the airline.

From 1961-1967, Mr. Pearson was a lead engineer in the airborne systems group of operational analysis at LTV Aerospace Corporation in Dallas, Texas. In addition to engineering duties on military aircraft, he was the first to analyze the commercial applications of V/STOL aircraft.

His lifelong love of aviation and flying brought him continual satisfaction and led him to make respected contributions to the community.
