Mr. Madewell was Chief of Systems Integration in Propulsion & Vehicle Engineering Lab at Marshall Space Flight Center in 1962.
During this time, he participated in the EOR/LOR analysis and decision process and released the “final preliminary design configuration and payload capability analysis for the Saturn 5 Launch Vehicle on the Apollo LOR Mission in August 1962.
Mr. Madewell subsequently worked on Design of Space Shuttle at Rockwell and Venture Star at Lockheed.
Mr. Madewell retired from Rockwell in 1987 and from Lockheed Martin in 1997.
