Being a part of the technical and management team at NASA , Marshall Space Flight Center, the Apollo program was successful in landing men on the moon, including their ride on the lunar roving vehicle. The first U.S. satellite and the first man in sub-orbital flight were accomplished in my early career, preparatory to the Apollo. I designed, built, tested and flew the first transistor computer on the Redstone Missile in 1953. My career spanned over forty-five years of electronic and aerospace engineering with the government and industry including the Space Shuttle effort.
