    Mr. Klaus Flitner had a career that spanned over 25 years in the aerospace industry with the General Dynamics Corporation in San Diego, California. He came from Germany in the late 1950's to obtain a college education. He served in the US Army in the early 1960's and then completed his Master's Degree before joining General Dynamics. During his career at General Dynamics he was involved with many programs including the Atlas Rocket, Tomahawk Cruise Missile, DC-10/MD-11, and Space Shuttle. Mr. Flitner was also a professor at Chapman University and helped educate future industry leaders from local military installations.
