Mr. Laurell E. Large recently achieved a life-long dream when he became a certified Private Pilot – Glider. Since boyhood he has been an avid enthusiast of the sky and space. He has long applauded and supported the efforts and goals of the National Air and Space Museum in promoting, preserving and protecting all aspects of aviation and space exploration. It is truly a place where dreams soar, and by way of this honorary profile he expresses best wishes for its continuing success and inspiration.
