    Born: March 23, 1913 Glendale, CA. BS in ME Univ. of Calif. 1937
    Associate Fellow: American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics.
    In 1942 he became a part of the Defense establishment and for 37 years he held positions of responsibility in defense and space engineering:
    -In development of non-ricocheting aerial depth charges
    -As test pilot in an experimental Navy glide-bomb
    -As Senior Design Engineer for the Atomic Bombs at Los Alamos, NM
    -At the Naval Air Missile Test Center, he developed methods for reducing guided missile test data into a usable format
    -As Assistant to the Director of the BuAer Guided Missile Division, he wrote the report that resulted in the Polaris Program
    -He developed the failure analysis for a large liquid rocket
    -After several managerial positions in developing Space Programs, he held engineer and managerial positions for 17 years in Lockheed Space Division.
    He retired in 1977.
