Mr Wolff's contributions to the development of space started with his undergraduate and graduate research for the Electric Propulsion Laboratory at Princeton University. He then worked for seven years at Hughes Space and Communications in California. While at Hughes, Mr Wolff supported a number of space programs ranging from National Aeronautics and Space Administration interplanetary studies to commercial satellites.

Mr Wolff currently (2000) works for PanAmSat, the world's largest geostationary satellite operator. He is the Senior Director of Advanced Programs, and is responsible for the preliminary design of all PanAmSat satellites.
