    Upon graduation in 1955 from Clarkson College, Mr. Koshar joined the Martin Marietta Corporation, then the Glenn L. Martin Company to begin a long and distinguished career in the defense industry.
    Indicative of his significant assignments, Mr. Koshar served as Program Manager of the LANTIRN fire control system and the Pershing II tactical ballistic missile. As a direct result of his leadership, the Pershing II was fielded in Germany on schedule. This action had the single greatest impact on the dissolution of the USSR and the end of the Cold War.
    In 1988 Mr. Koshar was named President of Martin Marietta’s Aero and Naval Systems division.
    In a consultant capacity on major programs, Mr. Koshar continues to serve in the defense of his country.
