Matt is 14 years old and is in the 8th grade at East Hills Middle School in Michigan. Matt is an A student, and avid hockey player and a wonderful son. He has always shown great interest in our country’s military, aviation and space exploration accomplishments. This plaque is to commemorate all he has done, and all we are so sure he will do, in the future.
When asked what he thought when he first walked into the new Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Matt replied “I feel like a kid in a candy store.” We believe for Matt this was an experience of a lifetime and should be marked for him and his family to remember.
