    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Sponsor

    Honored by:
    Col. Milton M. Mardirosian

This honoree, my father, came to the USA during the Armenian Genocide 1915-1917 as a young man knowing very little English, but spent countless evenings at night school to upgrade his vocabulary. During the day, he was employed at a shoe factory, since he was a super artisan. Working his way to the top, he became principal partner in a shoe manufacturing plant of his own, Bostock Shoe Manufacturing Co, Inc., 25 Railroad Ave., South Braintree, MA, being the first and only shoe manufacturer of Armenian heritage in the entire Eastern Seaboard of the U.S.
His company employed over 350 workers with whom he would personally interface to make certain the final product was absolutely flawless.
During all this, he married my mother, Ms. Annie Kachadoorian and raised me and my sister Nancy, making sure that each of us had the proper education that he wasn’t able to have.
My father was extremely grateful for being a U.S. citizen, and was a patriot of the highest order. He would stand at attention even when our flag was displayed on television!! Can anyone beat that one?
On top of all this, dad was extremely interested in aviation and space exploration. He wanted our Air Force to be number one, the greatest on this earth, and made every contribution to that effect. Interest in space exploration was predicated on his idea that mankind, as we know it, most probably originated from another planet such as Mars, Jupiter, etc. If there are similar species out there in space, we should make every effort to contact them, helping them, if we possibly can, or learning from them.
