    Mr. Paul F. Davis was an engineer at the Boeing Airplane Company in the late 1950’s and was part of the development group for the “Dash 80”, B707 prototype. He was also directly involved in the construction of PAA001, the first US-built commercial jetliner, and directed the assembly of the cockpit (41 Section). He was also present at the delivery to Pan American Airways. Mr. Davis also participated in the construction of the President’s B-707 aircraft, known as the VC137A Series of 6 aircraft delivered to SAC. Mr. Davis is retired from United Airlines where, as an engineer, he was involved with the introduction and operation of the DC-8, B-720, Caravelle, B-727 and B-747 aircraft for United. His aviation experience spanned almost 40 years.
