Involved in the 1976 restoration of the TWA Northrop Alpha. It is presently displayed at The National Air and Space Museum on the Mall. We (Don M. Cornwell and Richard W. Mann) reskinned the fuselage. We are proud to have been involved in the project, We both volunteered our metal experience to replace the badly damaged existing metal. We were employees of TWA at Kansas City, MO Maintenance Base. Don M. Cornwell retired at 91. Richard W. Mann is presently an employee of American Airlines.
