    Mr. Robert Vincent Glowczwski, BS AE, MS Re, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Associate Fellow, private pilot. He was born June 1931 in St Louis, MO to Lawrence and Gladys Glowczwski, the second oldest of ten siblings. He fathered five children, David, John, Alan, Susanr and Melinda. He worked in the aeronautical industry from 1955 through 1992 during which he contributed to aircraft programs such as the F101 Voodoo and the F4H Phantom II. His contributions to manned space flight were made on programs such as Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Large Space Telescope, Skylab, Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and Tethered Satellite.

    He served in the US Marine Corps Reserves during 1948-1955. He saw active duty during 1950-1951 with US Marine All Weather Fighter Squadron 513 in Korea and Japan
