Tommy earned his private pilot's certificate at the age of nineteen. Over the span of the next thirty years he earned his AP/IA ratings, instrument and commercial license, and became a flight instructor.
His passion is in restoring old aircraft dating back to the 1940s. God has gifted him with a love of flight and being a craftsman in his ability to make old things new again. This gift constantly reminds him of II Corinthians 5:17: "If any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creation; the old has passed away. Behold, the new has come."
