    38 year career with NASA and its predecessor agency National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA), all at the Ames Research Center (1956-1994), beginning as Aeronautical Research Scientist and concluding as Deputy Director of the Center. Career highlights follow:
    * BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Oregon State University (1956), MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Sciences, Stanford University in (1964), and MS degree in Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1972-1973 Alfred P. Sloan Fellow).
    * Numerous research contributions to development of supersonic aircraft, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo Programs, Space Shuttle Program, planetary probe atmosphere-entry programs, and the development and use of supercomputer systems in aerospace science and engineering.
    * Authored over 50 technical publications, keynote speaker at national conferences, served on many National Advisory Boards and Committees for NASA, AIAA, National Science Foundation, universities and industry, elected Fellow of American Institute Aeronautics and Astronautics, awarded NASA Medal for Outstanding Leadership and received Presidential-Rank Senior Executive Service Awards.
