Since I was six years old, I have been an aircraft enthusiast and model airplane builder. Today, 60 years later, I still support aircraft restoration and also still build and fly model airplanes. When I was 8 to 11 years old, I used to follow the bombing raids by the 8th Air Force over Germany on National Geographic maps. I have read many histories of WWII as well as technical data on WWII aircraft and modern aircraft. I support local air shows as well as the American Air Museum in Britain. We should keep museums growing because our younger generations will have little or no concept of what the United States went through in WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
