Our father, Mr. Win Charles Karish, has had a passion for aviation since he was a young man. After enlisting in the Air Force and working as a K-Systems Navigator during the Korean War he received flight training and realized he wanted to dedicate his career to working in the aviation field. Since that time, he has worked in both the public and private sector as a pilot as well as an instructor. During these same years, he also volunteered as a helicopter pilot for the Las Vegas Police Department. The last twenty-seven years have been spent working tirelessly to protect the public in the aviation field. As an Operations Specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration, he has received numerous awards for his efforts on behalf of his continued service to this organization.
