Flew with her husband Ben WW II L-5, BT-13, and B-25, Korea era F-82G, Vietnam UH-1 and CH-47. Lived at Satsuma, Japan, 1946, Kedna, Okinawa 1947-49, Chambla, France 1962, and on a Fire Base, BearCat, Vietnam 1969-70.

Helen has two sons and three grandchildren.
