Born in 1922 in Augusta, ME. Soloed in a J-2 on Watersville, ME in 1938. Worked in aircraft maintenance in Waterville and New York during WWII. Handmade the reinforcements to the tail of the first C-47 put on floats. Worked for American Airlines after the war. Joined the Maine Air National Guard in the Early 50s. He was head of Field Maintenance when he retired in 1968. He was aircraftsman who helped in rebuilding my Piper. PA-11 will not be forgotten.
