Joined the Navy 4 July 1955. Assigned to destroyer duty, Radarman, 27 October 1960. Joined the Air Force, Became an aircraft mechanic, worked on a variety of aircraft, C-118s. C-119s, C-54s, C-97s, C-47 Gooney Birds, T-33s, F-89s, F-106s and F-100s. Left the Air Force and enlisted in the Air Reserve Technician program 9 May 1966 with the 459th MAW. Started working as Crew Chief on 119 Flying Boxcars. Later that year we went to the C-124s, we resupplied the missile range and then in 1972 our mission changed to C-130 Hercules under TAC. Retired on 1941s-9 March 1995.
