Born June 26, 1921. Enlisted in the Army Air Force Sept 16, 1939. Trained at Langley Field, MacDill Field and Newfoundland. Arrived in England August, 1942. Served as Maintenance Crew Chief for 401st Bomber Squadron, 91st Bombardment Group. Died April 12 1945 on board his B-17 “The Peacemaker” during a test flight after making repairs to damage received during a combat mission.
