    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Brock Bentz

MSgt Richard Bentz, USAF (Ret) has had a lifelong interest in aviation. This interest was fostered by his father, a B-24 crewmember during World War II. After graduating from high school in 1975, he entered the Air Force, where he was trained as an aircraft hydraulic repairman. During his 20 year Air Force career, he served tours in Delaware, Germany, and Arizona, as well as being assigned for 6 months in Saudi Arabia during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Throughout his career, he worked on numerous Air Force aircraft including the C-5 Galaxy, F-15, and F-16. Even thought he retired from active duty in 1995, his interest and love of aviation remain strong.
