    MSgt Valerie M. Gantzler enlisted in November 1985 and served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. MSGT Gantzler's first operational assignment was with the STRATJIC at Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE, where she was an electronics analyst and became a Quality Control Team Chief. She moved on to Osan AB, Korea as an Electronic Warfare Analyst and Unit Training Manager. Her next assignment was to Harrogate, in the UK with the 451st IS as a Senior Watch Supervisor. She then went to Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX, and became a Master Instructor in the Electronic Signals Intelligence Exploitation Apprentice Course. MGT Gantzler's final assignment was with the 566 IOS at Buckley AB, in Colorado. There she began as a wideband analyst, became Mission operations Group Training Superintendent, then moved up to Operations Superintendent and finally became the Mission Operations Assessment NCOIC and Flight Chief.
